The IMPRS "From Molecules to Organisms" is an international PhD program offered jointly by the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany. Students highly motivated about research should have or be about to obtain an excellent University degree (at Masters or German diploma level) in the life sciences or a related discipline. The language of all lectures at the IMPRS is English. Apply for application online by 7th March 2013.
Scholarship Description:
The Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen will award the doctoral degree. Doctoral students benefit from regular workshops and supervising tutors at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the University of Tübingen. The school's aim is to endow scientists to study complex biological processes. The program of the school is challenging and innovative because it bridges not only diverse disciplines but also spans several levels of biological organization (from molecules to organisms).
