Description/Applicant information Ranked by the World Health Organisation has having one of the best healthcare systems in the world, Singapore’s status as a premier medical hub is set to grow especially with the rapid expansion of our biomedical sciences and research sectors. The changing lifestyle landscape has created growing demand for well-qualified health science professionals and the many facets of our healthcare industry provide a varied range of health science career choices. To help build up Singapore’s pool of allied health manpower resources, MOH Holdings, together with healthcare institutions in Singapore, are offering Mid-Term Scholarships (MTS) to outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students with a desire to serve in the Singapore Public Healthcare Sector upon graduation. As a Mid-Term Scholar, you will be assigned to one of the Singapore Public Healthcare Institutions. Within that institution, there will be ample opportunities to practice your field of expertise. Beyond the bond period, there are also many opportunities in the public healthcare sector – from restructured hospitals, community hospitals and research institutes to national specialty centres, MOH Holdings and the Ministry of Health.
